I have over 20 years of experience mixing and mastering and I am the owner and operator of a professional recording studio. While I have recorded mostly metal and hard rock, I have experience with a wide variety of genres. I have played in and toured with numerous rock and metal bands over the years. I am very passionate about creating music and I take great pride in creating quality mixes that truly capture each client’s unique sound.
One of the most frustrating things for any musician is getting to the end of the recording process only to find that the finished product seems like a “watered down” version of their music. Many blame a thin, weak sound on the recording process itself. And while quality recording definitely plays an important role, the key to getting the full sound you want is actually in the mixing and mastering. That’s my specialty. I can get you that wall of sound you’re looking for.
More and more artists are choosing to record at home for a variety of reasons. Home recording setups have become more and more affordable and user friendly over the years, but mixing and mastering is a skill that takes years to develop. For this reason, many artists opt to hire an experienced professional to mix and master their recordings. While I still enjoy recording live bands, I also find it very rewarding to take an artist’s own recording and fine tune it to get them the exact sound they were looking for. As an added bonus, providing mixing and mastering services isn’t limited by geographic location, which allows me opportunities to work with many artists I may not have met otherwise.

Need Some Help?
In the "Contact Me" section. Send me a message with the details listed in that section, provide a download link to your files, and a way for me to verify that you've sent payment (In case your payment email is different than the email used in the message,) When I am finished, you will get a .WAV and a .MP3 version sent to you. If you need any other format, just let me know and I will make it happen. Additionally, you can attach files to the message for the purpose of sending Album Art which will allow me to embed the art into your finished MP3 Files.
I love it when clients send me the DI tracks along with the captured sound from the amplifier. This goes for both guitar and bass. Can't record an amp at all and only have DI tracks? No problem, just let me know what tone you are going for such as a reference track or a specific guitar/bassist and I will do everything I can to get that tone for you.
WAV or AIFF are preferred however I can also take MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, Ogg as long as they are at the highest bit rate.
Make sure that your start and end markers for the song are set to cover the entire song. This will ensure that each track is the same length so lining up all of the tracks to each other will be flawless. Export each track with no processing of any kind, no panning, and mono tracks should be exported in mono (This should be most if not all of your tracks.)
Bit Depth - 16 bit, 24 bit, 32 bit
Sample Rate - 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.1 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz
You should always export and send the files in the same bit depth and sample rate at which they were recorded.
While I prefer not to receive tracks with effects on them, I will accept them as long as you also send me that same track without effects. If I'm not able to utilize the track with effects, I will be able to use it as a reference to recreate that effect in a way that will sit properly in the mix.
